Eco Park with children

Updated · The front desk, Aristocrat Hotel TBC · 3 min read

The short answer

Eco Park (Prakriti Tirtha) is New Town's 480-acre park around a lake in Action Area II (drive from the hotel: TBC). Children like the toy train, the boats, the cycles and the Seven Wonders replicas. It is closed on Mondays; check the day's hours and tickets on the official site before you go.

Eco Park, New Town: the lakeside promenade under palms.

When is Eco Park open?

Every day except Monday. Opening hours change with the season, and the timetable on the park's own site is the one to trust: check it on the morning you go, along with ticket prices.

What will the children enjoy?

The park is large, so pick two or three of these rather than all of them:

  • The toy train around the grounds
  • Boating and kayaking on the lake
  • Cycles, including small ones for children
  • Replicas of the Seven Wonders of the World
  • The butterfly garden
  • The Eco Children's Park

Where do we eat?

Inside the park: Dhamsa Tribal Kitchen, Cafe Ekante, Dhaba Ajante, Bangla Misti Hub and a food court. Or come back to Peerage, which is open 24 hours, whenever the children decide they are hungry.

Is there anything else nearby?

Mother's Wax Museum is opposite the park, in Action Area II: an easy indoor hour if it rains.

A half-day plan from the hotel
